Thanks Kissy,
Luckily, I didn't have class today. So I wasn't in Murfreesboro where the tornado touched down. From what I've heard it's like a war zone down there. Numerous houses demolished. The Tornado passed over I-24 and traffic is backed up from overturned cars. The hospital in Murfreesboro is standing room only. God bless my fellow Tennesseans.

I too wish all ya'll well and good luck. Tornados are one of the worst things anyone can go through. Having lived through several (even the local football team is called the Tornados) I offer this advice. If they issue a warning for your area FIND SHELTER IMMEDIATELY, or even if you just wonder if you need to because sometimes they pop up with no warning AT ALL, better safe than sorry. And yes this is partially selfish, I'd hate to lose a good supplier!

I've been watching the local coverage of the damage. 2 deaths confirmed, a mother and child blown out of their house and into a neighbors yard. Neighbors did everything they could till help arrived, but it was too late.

We are north of Nashville in Hendersonville. Most of the damage was north, by the Ky border, and south in Murfreesboro. It looks like a war zone there. Please keep these people in your prayers!

And anyone else that is in the path of the tornadoes today.

We'll be thinking of you. Please check in if/when you can.

Thanks so much!! I live in Murfreesboro (Rutherford Co.) but luckily it didn't hit our home. Lots of trees down in my neighborhood but that's about it. We had 4 touch down here today.

Robert, I'm so glad you're ok :)

We live about 45 min from Murfreesboro I freaked out when I started seeing the news coverage because we were going to go pickup my son's birthday photos at the studio, which is about 5 minutes from where it hit, then at the last minute I decided not to because they were saying it was going to be raining all day (what an understatement!).

The news coverage is horrific! It just breaks my heart to see all those people with their homes completely destroyed. The funny thing is, as soon as I started watching the coverage, the first thing I thought of was OMG I couldn't bear to lose my son's baby pictures if that happened to us. Isn't it interesting how we surround ourselves with "stuff", but when it really matters the only things that we can't live without are things we could never buy.

Having said that, I gotta go buy some more e-cig "stuff" LOL

My heart and prayers are with everyone that was affected by these horrible storms.
