From what I gather they perform like an 801 atty of similar resistance but with the added bonus of having a 510 connection to fit more devices. I assume its the same for the 901's.
This is basically the description from his site.
"Harnessing the almighty Flavor and durability of one of the first premium atomizers in existence, the 801. While retaining the world class fitting that is compatible with nearly every device imaginable while keeping the medium restricted airflow that you came to know and love, the 510."

I get the 306's from Iken and I love these things I don't use anything else anymore. IMO the 306's blow the 510 away. From the way Isaac explained it to me the 801 is gonna be a smoother flavorful vape with less throat hit than I like. He uses 901's. But I use the 306's. Good vapor, Good TH, and makes my Boba's explode with flavor at 2.0 ohm at 3.7v on my REO grand. But hey I'm just in this 3 months Bro I still got lots to learn.

There not sold out I believe they haven't been listed for sale as of yet. I've been Beta testing the New Cannon for a few days now and I can tell ya these things Rock, they have a 510 Bottom connection with an 801 internal, running them on a bottom feeder is pure Bliss and so is dripping in them, these Atty's are fabulous !!!

i went to the site and they had them listed and i got all excited and it says out of stock? maybe just a sales pitch. would make sense considering there's no reviews yet though.. my main concern is throat hit though it's what keeps me off the stogeys (cigarettes) :)

The 306 threading isnt the issue it's the size of the attys. They are like the size of an Ego mega. So the 510 connection lets it fit without adapter but perform like an IKV atty of 801 or 901 size. Am I right MWA?

I'm assuming the 801 and 901 has a lot more surface area or something? Just guessing.. never saw one...trying to see why they would be better...

Not quite everything is relevant here. Prior to VV devices all one had was Ohm's Law Calculator to help match equipment with atomisers, and this is how the chart above was created.

If the goal was to maintain current draw under 2A, (which was my goal in order not to stress batteries and prolonged their life cycles), you simply chose the resistance that would get you there. For example I prefer 7-8W, I can achieve that in many ways. The sweet spot is claimed to be between 6-12W with the median 9W. 9W would be the upper reaches for me. That being said some folks prefer reckless and do vape at 12W. The rice to pay, dependent on the batteries was battery and atty life cycles. Many still vape 6V with a std atty (2.2Ohm) which renders 16W unloaded and 13.4 loaded, still way to hot IMO. Now just move that slightly over to 2.5Ohm and you get 14.4W and 12.1 unloaded and loaded respectively. However there is a caveat. The drain on the battery is above 2A and unless you are using IMR batts, not a good thing. IMO that would be the minimal resistance an atty should have to be vaped @ 6V with an avg loaded voltage of 5.5V. A better choice would be a 3Ohm atty as all falls within specs with regards to durability and performance.

I use 3.5 for 6V and 2.5-3 Ohm for 5V because it puts me where I prefer to vape, 7-8 watts. I also use 5.2 at 7 volts, because in all honesty the 3.5s would pop at that voltage. 7V has since become less used in recent times.

I hope this clarifies where I was going with this. It is not complicated after using the chart for a while. Now with the VV devices you can fine tune for the liquid you are vaping, while keeping in mind the attys being used. This should prevent burning of the liquids, and short lived attys due to excessive voltages being applied to them.

Now that mumbo jumbo was in direct relation to voltages and resistance. You can further fine tune your vaping experience with the type of atty you use (all at std resistance):
  • 801 = cooler vape, great flavour, great vapour, mild TH;
  • 510 = warmer vape, good flavour, good vapour, great TH;
  • 901 = warmer vape, great flavour, great vapour, good TH; and
  • 306 = hot vape, best flavour, great vapour, great TH.

I hope this has been useful to some :)

ETA: My atties of choice is the 510, the 901, the 306 and the 801. The 2 Ohm 801 minis are at the top of the heap although not listed as such here. These of course are all std resistance with the exception of the 306. I do not like the LR 510, never did and never will. This has been my experience as a whole using attys from other sources. All bets are off with the IKV line :)

This is how it was explained to me. If you want TH I would go with the LR 306. But like I have said I haven't tried these yet. I will get a couple just to try but I got plenty of 306s to fall back on. Hope this helps.

Also might I suggest a Cannon DT it's way better than the stock 306 tip IMO. I love mine and you can see the juice hit the bridge when I squonk the REO.
lol from the description you have to fill to the fill line and wait for it to soak down... it's a great idea but im waaaaaaaaaaaaay to impatient for that

I tried it on my provari first it really didn't take that long to prime. After thet it was just like dripping any other atty.

well.. might give em a try. 8 bucks for a drip tip though is pretty steep when your a broke college student with a long wish list :D im sure it'll end up in my cart eventually though lol

One of the best vaping investments I ever made was when I bought just about every adapter I could find. I had a blast experimenting with different attys and cartos, voltages and resistances on my Buzz. Turns out I'm a carto guy. I've kind of settled on the 801 Fusion cartos and the 510 Gold V2s. Run 'em both a 4.5V.
