Been using these new Cisco 306 atties for 5 days hoping theyd break in...but they havent ;( one of the atties vapor production is just pretty weak..the other one is "decent" but still not how im used to...usually these Ciscos hit like monsters but im pretty annoyed because i felt like i just wasted money..

i debridged the crappier of the two but that didnt make it better ...

do you guys have tricks for atomizers like these? or am i just stuck?

i wish ikenvape would stay in stock too... want to try the ikv lrs so i dont have to (hopefully anyway) deal with inconsistency problems..i swear with every atty i buy i never know if itll be good or not..its always a darn gamble.. argh.

do any of you cisco attie users find inconsistency in your atties too?

if youre not an ikv/cisco atty user..what brand do you use? and have u used cisco/ikv before and how would you compare em? i usually go with the tip notch stuff.but if every darn atty is gonna be a gamble, i might as well get the cheap stuff...

/end rant -.-;

I have used Cisco and Ikenvapes. I have used attys from so many vendors I have lost track. None has in my opinion stood above the others in consistency and durability. That might just be me. Right now this is what I am using, so far it looks like they will be my atty of choice. I use the LR510 and am purchasing the 306 to try.

I know a lot of people like the cisco's the only 2 I ever bought where from avid, they died so fast I might as well just took a 20 dollar bill and threw it in the trash, so I started buying the cheap ones that way if I they died I wouldn't feel jipped. the funny thing is I've been using the same 3 cheapys for about 2 months and they seem to still be kicking. so I buy bridgeless lr510 from greenhouse1 they are suppose to be 1.5ohms. and my last batch of lr306s I got from ecigexpress they come with drip tips and are suppose to be 1.8ohms. they work for me and I don't feel chumped.

I had one batch of Ciscos that clogged up. I tried everything to unclog them, but it looked like the insulator ring dropped and blocked the holes. It hasn't happened since, so I don't know if it was user error (I was fairly new to attys) or the attys. While it is possible that it was something wrong with the attys, I suspect that it was me because it hasn't happened since.

+1 on what Karen said. I tried boge and a couple of others, but honestly, I couldn't see any difference, either in performance OR longevity. Lately, I've been using the bulk atomizers from Vaporkings that she linked to above, and they are performing and lasting just as well as the more expensive ones. (Both 510 and 901)

Mine does this too. It is my juice that is doing it. There is a thread on here about drilling out the holes. With a drill and a steady hand, it works. Just take your time. I use a 3/64 bit on it. I found making another hole higher than the existing holes works for me. The bit I got was at the dremel section. I used electrical tape to make the bit bigger so my drill would grab it. Its a little wobbly but it works.

thanks for all the replies

okay guys I fixed the "decent" attie, but i had to sacrifice the crappier one >.<

first i drilled a bigger hole like the sticky above instructed.. and it helped a little but it didn't do the trick.. because I don't think the draw was tight in the first place. this should be something done when it gets tight, not on a new attie (like what the sticky says)

so i opened the crappy one up and inspected the insides, and realized the airflow comes from a little hole underneath the visible coil. so i debridged the atomizer, moved the coil away temporarily, and using a small small screwdriver from an eyeglass kit, poked through the center hole a little bit. i don't think you want to push it all the way down, but i did it till i felt something and pushed it down a slight bit more and removed it. put the visible coil back in place and BAM - hits like the monster i'm used to. now when i blow through the threaded end, i can tell there's a noticeable difference in airflow

obviously i don't suggest this unless you're about to throw away the attie like i was. hope this helps anyone.. i'm still mad that i had to sacrifice an attie though >=[

If you haven't tried it yet I'd definitely suggest trying the cisco 1.5ohm 901's with a stealth adapter from the same source and an empire drip shield. I found the IKV 1.8ohm 901s I got don't even compare. My second fav atty has been the cisco 1.5 306 but the 901 give me more vapor and flavor.

ya been thinkin bout the 901's because i have an adapter, def gonna buy 1 to test it out on my next order
