Just an 18490 box for my SS Line...
Wow! What is that and where can it be bought? I love the recessed carto...is it a megalodon?
Simply spectangular. Any chance that this might be made to already fit the GTUS too? Funny, I would have taken you for a digital calipers kind of guy.
Its not carto, its SS Line. Genesis style atty, made by Van.
Great work on the box quigsworth!
Lol, I've got both, just liked the way the morning sun danced off the analogue's better...
I'm building another for the GTUS...it's quite a bit bigger than the Lines...
Oooh, that's the actual name. I thought I already knew all the APV out there, but I guess this one sliped the cracks. Googling it results in no vendors, so I take it it is special order from Europe?
Yeah, its made in Croatia. You should probably check out vapor wall forum if you're interested in that sort of stuff.
You can only get Line's through a CO-OP on another forum (or on the ECF classy's for "slightly" inflated prices)...the box isn't commercial, I built it.
Just logged into VF and reading about it now, thanks! Great job on the box, amazing craftsmanship
Length I'm not too worried about fitting (undoubtedly longer) but does the 19.05mm diameter stands a chance in the case made for 18xxx? I still miss your redacted previous offer and like the roundness here. I'm toying with something oval in shape, but really need to get the GTUS first and see how it is in length and weight to decide what to do with the body.
The GTUS has almost the same diameter as an 18XXX (edit, nvr mind you said that...this box has a "bit" of slop but not much...I'm hoping it fits)...problem with the GTUS box is the re-fill without a major PITA factor...may have to employ one of my 510 to quick connect ideas. The Line refill is a piece of cake, I made sure there was the head room to unscrew the top enough to access the fill hole. As far as the GTUS's weight...it has some heft to it.
