I have a couple of Stealths. The one from COV's has the below battery spring.
I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere but does this act as a fuse?

Battery spring will act as a fuse Kelt

Stealth cant have fuse on it because fuse works with a telescope, something that Stealth doesnt have. How did you manage to put fuse on stealth?

Fuse doesnt come as standard on GGTS because most people dont know what to do when GGTS will stop working when fuse gets burned and they will complain all the time about a non working GGTS. Fuse is for advanced users not because its difficult to be used by new users but old users know what they have to do if GGTS doesnt work

Imeo, some axis are around 1mm shorter, those work fine with fuse kit on Stealths. I have two of those 1mm shorter axis and both work good in Stealth with fuse kit and with AW IMR 18350 batteries, I don't currently use them because I replaced the axes of all my GGs with brasss ones.

The longer axis was made for the fuse so I desided to make all of them longer this time Ariel.:)
Stealth maybe works with the shorter because of your batteries. Other batteries may work with the longer axis. But in general Stealth cant really work with fuse because it doesnt have the telescope and cant take all the length of the 16340 or 18350 batteries

That's great, because Stealth can use 18350 and 16340 batteries and spring auto adjust to the proper lenght, and spring itself acts as a fuse also, if you can fit the Fuse Kit inside Stealth you limit the functionality to only use one size of specific batteries, and if those batteries have little variances in its lenght it could be possible to not have proper contact, so Stealth won't work as is designed. I had not thought it that way :)

Anyway, I have brass axis and new battery spring installed in both of my Stealths and brass fuse kit in my GGTSs :D

Bought it off the classifieds on ECF. 18350 imr fit ok with the fuse. I can see how the battery spring is a lot less hassle though.

Personally i have never had a big need for a fuse or the spring. If you get a hard short it will make the button really hot really fast and i unscrew the pieces and all is good till i find the short. only once has this happened on my UFS when the center pin got crooked

Yes that happened to me when I had a short on the Ody. The hot button gives a great warning system, however for some reason I still want the fuse protection.

springs doesnt work well kelt because they are fat and they need more than the apropriare current to shrink. Also they dont work on telescope systems well at all because spring is pressed too much to work as a fuse. Thats why I made a real fuse for GGTS

as long as there is a stealth thread, I have a really dumb question.

Can the pin in the stealth cap be adjusted for the height of the atty attached to it? I have screwed and unscrewed it, but was not sure if that was supposed to be that way or not.

I am almost embarrassed to ask this with all the knowledge that I do have. Makes me feel like a newbie :)

Yes ob ,

At least for me on my Penelope , she would not fire so I unscrewed her with the top cap and the brass screw was loose , so I turned it tight into Penny. And then the rest ofthe mod tight and it made a great connection. The brass pin screws in and out on top cap !

Best Wishes !!!!

Thanks Imeo, my initial concern was that the spring was too thick to act as a fuse.

I've had the spring work as a fuse many times. If you have a bad short the spring will heat enough to where it just completely compresses. However if you over tighten or if you have a longer battery in stealth that completely compresses the fuse since it is already completely compressed when it melts contact is still made.
