There's no way that kitchen tongs would grip an atomizer steadily enough while I'm holding them in my left hand (I'm right-handed.) I can envision the steamer tossing the atomizer across the room. The steamer is way too big for the tiny atomizer. I would only trust an atomizer in a vise of some type and then handling the steamer with my right hand. Others, with more steady hands, could possibly handle it. There's no way that I could.

I guess I am surprised that no one has actually tried steam cleaning an atomizer.

If you jump into the way back machine you may remember it's been done with mixed results... as is always the case with atty cleaning methods, right? LOL

Pretty much like the rest of the methods, one needs to try them on their own to know for sure. Of course, if YOU purchase the steamer and claimed it was a success, I'd be on board for one in a heartbeat. <g> The Crest mouthwash theory -- not so much, however. LOL

We've been around too long, bud. Seen 'em all. =)

You're right, Rickie about being around toooooo long and seeing all. I did remember someone talking about it way back but couldn't remember the result. I guess if it had worked great, we would all be doing it. And I also tried the mouthwash option and that was "one and done". I remember those posts where someone would come up with some new cleaning method and then claim it made the attys "better than new". Once I see that statement, I never bothered since I know it's BS.

Good to hear from you. Hope you are doing well.
