I need some help with my ragnar tank in the kit. I can get the top cap for filling off but I can not for the life of me get the tank completely apart. The fill port section is so tight it won't budge.

The base comes off to get the deck out but I can't get the bottom to come loose either. I used paper towels wrapped around using a wrench but it won't budge that way either.
Anyone have any ideas ??

Elastic bands and or rubber gloves will get you a better grip @t8kiteasy, then use pliers or heavy duty tweezers and some cardboard or tubing to prevent scarring.

Just use the fill ports for leverage then.

If that doesn't work, put in the freezer and let cool down to temperature. Then try again.
Thanks ,I finally got it apart with my coil master needle nose pliers.

How's your Hadron though? I have a small problem with mine: if shaken, or if i put it down fast on a hard surface (it hits it slightly) it sometimes turns off and then switches on by itself.... I'm annoyed, it's not an expensive mod but not a cheap one either.

The Hadron itself is a nice sturdy device so far. Love using it,mainly around house, as my all day device. Using it with the ragnar in dripper mode with squonk pack is awesome simply because of juice capacity and lack of constantly filling. As far as 21700's rattling around? I do not have that issue I'm using a pair of re wrapped 21's and it fits no problem. I would suggest either put a piece of tape around each battery or re wrap them. I do love this device I believe if I had to this device would go out with for a long period away from the house.

I thought about the tape before, might give it a shot. I saw people on yt using some rubber bands as I wasn't the only one with this issue. Thats a minor problem, I'm more worried about the mod switching off after shaking or putting it down on the table. I don't know if hadron is just very sensitive to vibration or if I have a defective mod....

@PeterKay, there's o rings included with the Hadron that you can fit to the batteries to get rid of the rattle.

But it sounds as though the batteries in certain situations are able to move around so much, that they can break their electrical connection.

I haven't encountered this issue though, just the rattle.

The issue I've encountered is weird TC performance due to the resistance not being read correctly, so it never quite reaches set temp. Hopefully though, that can be fixed with updated firmware.

But they are nice paired with a Cthulhu Mods Mjölnir RDA, as decent level of vapour and masses of flavour.

All good to know as I've been curious since it was announced.
Thanks.

I've seen them but after watching this vid I don't think I'm gona attempt (watch from 5:45)

I think I'll just try the tape and see where that gets me

I get really impatient with this kind of stuff so I think if replacing batteries for me every time looked like what this guy is going through it would end up in a desk rage for me :D

The batteries are just losing the connection. My geek vape blade mod is bad for that too. I have to bend the clips at least once a day when using that device. Re wrap would be best bet though and the wraps are cheap. I got 4 sets of 100 for 18,20,21700,and 26650 batteries at FT for $3.25 each bundle.

I've used black plastic electrical tape on some 20700's that rattled in 21700 mods. Just wrapped a few turns on the neg. side of the battery (near battery door/latch side). If you add to much, you remove a turn. Still rattles a bit, add a turn. Fix my problem with rattle.

I'm rocking the Occula RDA right now on Hadron, big fused clapton coils (i took 3mm 5 wrapped and added an extra wrap, ohms at 0.12, I vape between 90-120W), it's a vapor monster. Flavor pretty good as well
