Steamboy 2.1 clone dual coil/wick build

So I tried something new and went half cotton half ss rope, however you can see that on both of them my juice turns red when its actually a yellow colored liquid. Does this mean that its burning too fast? Also, I'm not finding great flavor nor vapor on this build, its mediocre at best, anyone have any suggestions on a build I should try? This setup currently has 10 wraps x 2 of 28 awg and I dont have an ohm reader but its probably around 1 ohm or maybe even a little more. I purposely went high because I found keeping the resistance low gives me a burnt taste, and someone suggested on the FT forum that 1 ohm is really good with the Steamboy. I been having no luck finding a good build for this and my RSST. My RSST vapes a bit better and produces more flavor but only when my tank is like 3/4 full or more. Other than that I have to do the tilt method but I want a set up where I dont have to do that. I dont want to drip anymore, and my Russian 91 from vapordna that came in today was a defect which sucks big time because I really like the bottom feeding system atomizers. On top of that I saw on there site that the Russian 91 is sold out so Im pretty sure they wont be sending me a new one. I need to learn how to build gennys and its been a few weeks now but I've tried so many builds and cannot find the right one. Please if you guys could post pics of your setup or just suggest something I would really appreciate it.
