Steel Special Edition Riva

Just got two of these in the mail today. One for myself and one for my brother. They are beautiful. Really classy looking. Even more so than my black Riva. I also ordered a steel 901 cone for mine since I'm a carto user. Love it. Just wish it didn't have the gold threading on it since everything else on the steel special edition is silver. But even so it's really tiny so It's hard to see the gold. Which means it's not really a big deal.

Weird, I'm using my SE right now. No gold threading. No gold ANYWHERE. It's all silver. Chrome band and the bottom of the battery, and the rest is stainless steel... Edit: Oh, wait, you mean the silver 901 cone has gold threading. I'm just using the one cone that came with mine. All silver.

One cool thing: if you are a carto user like me, and you use the Boge cartos (like me), peel off the black sticker, and it's silver underneath. Completes the look VERY nicely!

One cool thing: if you are a carto user like me, and you use the Boge cartos (like me), peel off the black sticker, and it's silver underneath. Completes the look VERY nicely!

Nice! I should have thought of that. Original cone even fits better.

Ha, I just noticed in the pic with the teddybear, the band looks goldish. It's the way the light's reflecting. It IS silver! In fact, that kinda looks like my titanium Riva...but it's not. Stupid lighting!!

That's exactly how I run mine! I don't mind the gold, becuase I think it just look sso much better with the short cone.
I also use the 901 steel cone with my steel EGO 900
