This is in support to steeljan;

Lady,we need more people like you, dedicated and knowledgeable.

Understandably the flame that burnt into you got somewhat extinguished by the misbehaviors of some obscure characters.

Take your time, let the dust settle and come back to us stronger than ever.

Somehow kharma will work its way...remember,kharma works both ways.

You do good things, good things come to you;you do bad things, bad things happen to you.

There are many good things left to happen to you and I am confident that this is the opinion of most of the Canadian vaping community.

Edit:

I urge our USA friends to start such a thread as well.

Thank you for starting this thread Martin! I believe that now is the time for the vaping community to stand together and to let everyone know that cyber-bullying will NOT be tolerated in any shape or form in our community! As a vaping community, we cannot afford to turn against one another given the precarious nature of our vaping freedom...especially here in Canada.

As SteelJan stated in her heartfelt 'help' video, no one is saying that we all have to agree with one another in all situations. However, it is important that we all behave like reasonable adults and respect the fact that there are differing opinions WITHOUT name calling, personal attacks or constant stalking and disparaging comments. As a mother of 4, I would be aghast if any one of my children participated in this type of behaviour either on or offline ~ it is definitely not how I have raised them.
On that note, if you have ever been a participant of this type of behaviour, either actively or passively, let it end here and now. Make your mothers proud!

I think there is a few that have been started here already Martinc. But it's awesome you are bringing support to Steeljan international!!

I think it is important that we also support SteelJan's decision to leave (even though we all hope it is only temporary). She mentions that she is on a disability pension and I am assuming (we all know how dangerous that can be!) that she may be living with some sort of chronic health condition that is making her life miserable as well. Stress, as we all know, aggravates pretty well all health issues that one might have. She may need time to recuperate physically as emotionally. I'm pretty sure she is aware that there are a ton of people in the vaping community who are behind her all the way. Just hope that she will decide sometime down the road that she is ready to share her input with us all again.

I will miss her style... not trying to upset anyone and telling it like it is.

I really enjoyed her latest video's on battery safety/future, and the future of E-cigs, etc. Very informative and a bit technical but someone has to start thinking about these things! Now that she has removed them, others may not get the chance to see them like I did and learn from it and formulate our own opinions. As much as I love pushing 12A into a dct, I don't want that touching my wet lips! AAAND What am I gonna spend hours watching now? :p

It is getting harder to find a reviewer that has a good technical background, a strong understanding of something that others find hard to grasp, all that combined with the ability to talk to normal jane's and joe's about it and lead them their own way.... It is a huge loss for us all as well as SteelJan. She obviously loved doing it as much as we enjoyed to watch her do it and rip it apart! I'd always laugh she she talked to us into the camera like we were always right there listening.

Take care, all the best in the future, and Please come back and visit sometime! Lots of us will miss you!

Obviously she has my full support -- both against the bullies, and -- reluctantly -- in her decision to leave. I understand why she is leaving and understand her need to, but I hate that there was a need to in the first place. Some people just can't resist whipping out their e-penis and whipping it around as if someone is going to give a damn and bringing someone to tears is going to make them some sort of hero.

Ugh... I'd better stop before I go off on the much more colourful rant that I really wanted to make a video of. Anyway, I'm terribly sad to see Jan go, and livid at those who made that happen, but I understand why she felt the need to disappear. We can only hope that she may someday return, because she will be welcomed enthusiastically if she does.
