I've been preoccupied the last few days and am just getting up to speed on this. But my take is that when people put themselves "out" there on the internet, as opposed to being hidden and anonymous, they take the risk that someone may want to knock them down so to speak.
I knew this kind of thing happened to kids and teens, we hear about them committing suicide far too often, but I never knew of it happening to an adult, someone who is such a respected member of our community. I hope (and bet) she'll become aware of the overwhelming support here, and regroup, and return to doing what we love, and recognize that if she goes away, the dickheads win! That's all they can hope to accomplish by being the cowards they are.
So, how can we direct our energy to finding out who is responsible and making sure they can never come back to our forums?
