Where you least expect it....
Welcome to the forum k101girl!

The best way to steep e-liquid would be to leave it in a dark and cool area. Such as a cabinet or drawer for example. The most important factor for steeping is time. The longer you let it steep, the better the flavor will be when you decide to use it. Just remember to shake the contents in the bottle around every few days or so.

There are quite a few different methods people use. Some people give it a warm bath and shake (the warmth thins the juice out so that it will mix properly)- ultrasonic machine is what many use with this method. Others let is breath for a few hours w/o the caps on and then recap and store in cool dark place- shaking daily. And I know there are other ways but those are two big ways that came to mind. And welcome to ECF!

Sorry but I don't think your method will work as the centrifugal forces will keep you juice in essentially in one place while the blades are spinning.

Steeping is letting the juice sit in a cool dark place for a period of time. Time depends on the composition and flavors in the juice. Best bet is to ask the maker of you juice for steep time and if it is required. Personally I don't really steep my juice on purpose but since I have so many bottles that they do get steeped :)

Breathing is letting the juice air out for a certain amount of time. Some place a clean cotton ball on top of the juice bottle with the needle nipple removed so that crap doesn't get in the bottle while it is open. I have heard that breathing takes a little of the nic harshness away from the juice if it is high nic. Personally I don't breathe my juice.

Mixing or shaking is just that. Some of the contents of juice settles out and need to be mixed before putting it in your rig. I always give my bottle of choice a quick shake before dropping it in. Kinda like "packing" a fresh pack of smokes.

I am sorry that you are having difficulties with your juice. Some will develop in time and some just plain won't. Quality and taste of juice is very subjective and I'd suggest trying many to find your favorite. It may be a little costly but check out the vendors forum and see what kind of deals that you can find. I personally get the $0.99 sales from Killer-Juice and I have thoroughly enjoyed 99% of the juices I purchased. The 1% is just a flavor that I don't really care for and not that the juice is bad. That is just my doings and it may be worth looking at if you are a budget vaper. Honestly there are so many options out there it may take a little time to figure out what works for you.

Don't know about steeping, but sounds like Juice abuse to me, good way to loose some juice and make a mess though.

I use a warm water bath when mixing me juice. Pour warm tap water over the outside of the flask while stirring/mixing.
Helps thing out the VG when warm, everything blends together faster, seems to help with the flavor development. Will usually repeat once or twice, before bottling the new juice.

Steeping is not what's going on, well blended and emulsified juice, and some flavor development sure, but steeping is a term thrown around to cover up the fact that the juice is crap. lol:D It either taste good from the start, or it doesn't. Once subjected to the air, then oxidation begins, and some flavors can become more pronounced and develop, but steeping? no. Internet legend.

Vape long and Prosper.!!!

Im having a hard time finding a good steeping method to enhance flavor in juices so I got a ceiling fan and taped my juices to the blades:facepalm: and turned the ceiling fan on. Does anyone think this is a good way to steep them?

Wouldn't that be mixing? Just let it sit in a cool dark place for at least 12 hours, then shake it, test it and possibly steep longer. If it has alcohol in the flavoring steep it with the cap or cover off and put a napkin over it like a tent so the alcohol can breathe.

I really dont understand this steeping thing...
Fine spirits ( booze) age, Good wine gets aged, tea gets steeped since there is tea leaves in it
maybe everyone is using the wrong word for juices, since there isnt any solids in the juice it must fall under the aging process....
unless you are soaking tobacco in PG or VG... then its steeping
