Never heard that one before. Learn something every day.

You actually may have and have not just connected the two... Flavor and smell are tightly intertwined... take your favorite food and hold your nose when taking a bite... you probably won't taste very much at all... repeat it normally and it will again taste as you remember it.

Basically the same thing at a varying degree happens if your allergies are kicking in and your nose is stopped up or runny.

i did notice this many times as i first quit vaping for the first 9 months, using the same atty or carto mind you, wake up the next day, go to vape, i couldnt taste anything, as if the juices i was trying went flat and lost flavor, only to try them days later and they were fine, this happened on many occasions and eventually settles out but still happens on occasions and this wasnt due to foods or drink.

And, strangely enough, it happens with some juices, and not others. I have some that when I take the first two or three drags, it's like "wow - heaven", and then the next drag is sort of ok, but certainly less flavor.

Doesn't happen with GV juices, btw, certainly not with Caramel Apple, which is my fav.

But yeah, when I just started three years back, on almost all of them (except for ECOpure, which is what I vaped almost exclusively back then for that reason) the flavor would go away completely in very short order.

Of the many juices I've tried I've found a few benefited from resting a long time. Most didn't change in taste much. A couple darkened in color dramatically and were improved. I've not found a ton of value in steeping a flavor I didn't care for. Pass it on to another Vaper and try something else. One man's dud is another's delight.

A couple of months ago I bought a 30ml bottle of Smooth with extra flavor from bluemistvaping.com. Vaped on it for an entire day and did not like the flavor. It gave me a head ache and about made me want to vomit. It was that bad! So I let it sit for a good month with the cap off and vape on some different juice's I have.

I got tired of seeing this 30ml bottle of juice sitting on my dresser thinking that I will never vape on again, so I started to mix it with other flavors. That's when I noticed that it was starting to taste good.

Long story short. After a month of steeping the Smooth from bluemistvaping.com is now my favorite juice. I've tried a lot of juices and this is now my favorite.

So yes steeping can save your juice.

I used to compain that I can't find sweet enough ejuice till I tried steeping. Steeped ejuice becomes sweeter, richer flavor, heavier and smoother. These days I choose if I feel like steped or u-steeped ejuice. It's almost like having two flavors out of one flavor in some cases.
Usually I open the bottle, remove the dripper and leave it for a 2 days, squeezing the bottle now and than to replace the air. For better longer steerping I just leave the bottle for a week. Works well for tobacco based ejuices. Fruits are just a simple mix so they don't do do well but usually do get rid of chemical smell and become little sweeter.
