..is it really necessary?

I mean, I dont know about all of you but when I order my e-juice online I want to try it the minute it arrives.
Im excited to try a new flavor and I need to get it into my EVOD as soon as I can get it.

But I see several people and actually many vendor websites recommending that I let me juice steep for 1 to 2 weeks.

1 to 2 weeks? Are you kidding me? I mean I want the best flavor possible. But there is no way I am gonna wait for 7 days to try my new e-juice.

So question is, is steeping really necessary and if it were, shouldnt there be a way you could purchase e-juice that has already steeped?

thanks,

I didnt really believe in steeping. Some needed to air out overnight but 95% of.my.juices never drastically changed over 1+ month of steeping time. Everyones different but juices i didnt like the first day still tasted like crap at day 30+.

Now with that said, the other 5% benefited alot with steeping. Custards needed atleast 2 weeks(or when they turn really dark). Complex juices like el kamino, bobas bounty, gorilla juice, grey matter etc needs a few untouched weeks before vaping.

Simple stuff like strawberry, butterscotch, vanilla probably dont need much.

I agree with what Donwuan said. Simple juices, fruits and some bakery and tobacco flavors, do not need steeping. When a juice contains several flavors they do benefit from a few days of aging and shaking so that the juice can marinate per say :). This can happen while you vape if it's tasty enough for ya right out of the mail.

Most people don't think aging a juice is to bad since they have several at the time of order to get them through the weeks time or however long it takes. I'm like you I don't wanna wait so I taste mine as soon as it's in my hands and every day thereafter.

I DIY my own juice and like many have said steeping does make a big difference on some juices. some it actually ends up loosing flavor or the "special touches" . if you want to cut out the time of waiting 2 weeks you could get an ultrasonic cleaner. can spend as little as 35 bucks up to hundreds depending on how much you have to burn lol. there is alot of info on ultrasonic steeping in the DIY section. it really does work. when i make my favorite vanilla it takes about 3 weeks to steep. i can do it in 12 hrs with the machine and then let it rest a day and its good to go. a day and a half is way better than 3 weeks.

most tobaccos I know of actually take the longest. bakery 2nd. I dont vape tobacco but most the people i know that DIY say to get the best flavor on it is generally 3-5 week steep. bakery is my favorite to make. 2-3 week steep generally. fruit is usually shake and vape. but the cover all "taste is subjective " handles that ha!!!!!! ..... I think as long as it taste good to you then whatever is clever.

Hey look at juices like you look at spaghetti/chili/pasta(atleast in my house). Its good the day its made but it goes to another level the next day.

When i cant wait. Ill normally take a clean sample bottle(3-5ml) and leave the rest with the cap off. Normally next day after work ill give the juice a hot water bath. Leave the bottle in the bowl until its room temperature.

You can always buy pre steeped eliquid from places like the vape tree. His juice is amazing.

And for the record, 1 year in, i still dont understand why the fear for pre steeped juices. I do understand juices from china or random mom basement juice makers.

Atleast places that offer no custom mixes besides nic.
