Steeping: I finally get it.

I started vaping on my analog quit day, 1/17/11, went from 7/11 Njoys to a 510 and now a Riva. I found BWB early on, read the forums for recommendatgions on juice flavors, esp the tobaccos, tried a few samples from other vendors etc. The normal progression I suppose but I kept reading about steeping, and how some BWB juices taste better as they aged.

I originally ordered Backo, Med Menthol, Applewood, and Honey Nut Flue. Then I picked up some E Joker because I was quick on the draw, but missed the Ry4. I loved the Applewood right out of the mail, didn't care for the Backo, thought the HNF was tasteless, and the MM really lame.

Applewood is pretty much my daily vape, and I switch with other flavors. I'm still looking for a really good tobacco vape with great throat hit (maybe the Exotic or Cassa) with my order next week.

I had put the HNF, MM, and Backo away as I went on to other things, but I finally retried the HNF this week. Ummm much better. I found a new friend.

Tonight I found an unlabeled cart, vaped it, and "HELLO MENTHOL MEDIUM." Mega throat hit.

I'm beginning to understand the steeping thing. It can't be described, you have to be there.

E-Liquids do change in flavor. Some seem to mellow and some seem to get more intense.

I won't start the debate over how long is best but I will say, which I think most users will agree is that you should store e-Liquids in a cool dark place while they "steep".

Yup.. I was never a huge fan of the idea of steeping... I had assumed juices would change a bit in flavor, but I expected things to pretty much stay they way there were by and large. I remember trying RY4 out of the mailer and thinking YUK! People get so excited over this?!?! It tastes awful!

I tried it again one month later and it's amazing! I only regret getting it in 24mg size.

Now that I think about it... I hated e-jokers too and tried it over time for about a week... It's been a month or so... maybe I should give it another go. (P.s. I think the honey flue is my favorite from BWB. )

Hey....if that eJoker doesn't cut it for ya, I'll gladly take it off your hands. I have a 30ml bottle of Honey Flue, 18mg. born 6/7 that I haven't even cracked the cap on yet!

When I buy my BWB juices, I just put them away for at least a couple of weeks before I try them. I have some Malty Toffee and 555 exotic that I just received and can't wait for them to 'ripen' up so that I can try them out! Good thing I have other jooses to keep me occupied, LOL!!

I've learned to never give up on a flavor from BWB... only after 6 weeks or so of steeping. If I dont like it by then, it's probably not for me!

If I didn't have like 40 days worth of all day vaping for HFC atm, I might take you up on that ejokers trade if it doesn't work out for me.

The only flavor that I still didn't care for from BWB after over a month is casa. It's about 2 months old or more now... I might try cracking it open tomorrow and giving it another go.
