Since it takes most companies over a week to ship their juices out to me..is any steeping required. The reason I ask is cause I received 6 different flavors from a company and only tried the strawberry flavored one. It tasted fine. I decided to let them all air out overnight in cool dark place and this morning I shook them up real nice and let it sit for another 8 hrs and was out of juice so picked the strawberry one again and tried it. There is very little flavor compared to before. Any thoughts?

Most times if the juice is made fresh to order (meaning you got to pick the PG/VG ratio and what not) then they will need to steep some time before they are just really good. A lot of people on here say juice flavors usually are fine right away...but I didn't find that to be, for me any ways. Most orders, I put in a cabinet and leave for about a week before even trying. Just going by shaking a couple times a day. If you are out of juice though..you may just have to Vape it.

If I were you, I'd go ahead and place another order now, even if its just a couple Bottles...and when they come in, toss them in a cabinet. That way when you start running low on this order you now have, you'll have some juice already steeped.

I make my own e-liquids and I've found that some flavors I use like peanutbutter and chocolate are flavorful and ready to use within 12hrs but others like peppermint and caramel take at least a few days to steep even weeks. I agree with lilmrsyeti as ordering ahead of time so they can steep. As far as flavors becomming less flavorful over time, Ive only noticed that once with an Ryu4 flavor that just after about a month, it just tasted sweet, no flavor...maybe I had it too long. I guess its all trial and error! Good luck!

Personally I do not count shipping time as steeping time. I do not feel that steeping begins until oxygen gets mixed with the juice through vigorous shaking introducing micro bubbles to the juice. Then there's the evaporation of alcohol that some flavors are based in, and that's not going to happen with the top on.

Generally speaking tobacco flavors need more steeping than other flavors but there are tobacco juices that are great right out of the mail, I prefer fresh Boba's Bounty over well steeped Boba's. Although there is nothing wrong with aged Boba's and for some it's the other way around.

Try the juice fresh out of the mail, if its weird, shake the crap out of it, I mean hard and fast, beat it up, then set it too and dripper top OFF in a dark cool drawer or closet for a few days. Top back on and shake it again every 24 hrs. After 2-3 days try it again. If its still weird repeat.

If its still weird after 2-3 weeks of this you're probably never going to like the juice. Sell or trade it here on the classifieds.

Good luck!

Steeping time has a lot of variables. I personally don't count shipping time as proper "steeping." It depends on whether the vendor mixes the juice when you order it. It also depends on the size bottle you get of a juice. A 30 ml bottle takes longer than a 5ml bottle. The type of flavor also needs to be considered. A tobacco juice will take longer than a fruit or desert type. Either way, everyone has different methods as far as steeping is concerned. If I'm super stoked about a juice, I might try it right away, but most of the time, I have to wait. Basically, if a juice tastes good to you this early, vape it, but I've had many juices that I hated when I got them in the mail only to love them once they've been steeped properly.
