Steeping with heat

I have been waiting for some expendable cash to order some startup supplies, being single income 3 member family money is tight. I was thinking of starting with hot water bath and milk frother. I know hot is bad for nic but if I were to hot water bath with no nic steeping that way adding nic later if there was a max temp I should be aware of. Ps i'm planning on mixing max vg for my big dripper

The nic should be in the mix as the reaction with the flavors is part of the process. 150 degrees is what everyone talks about as a good spot.
