If the juice is recently and appropriately mixed, you should get at least three months out of your juice if you store it in a cool and dark place. It's not uncommon for them to last up to six months, either.
This factor is why I don't understand why some people are so wild about made-to-order juice.
If something has to steep, I'd rather it happen on the suppliers shelf. If I buy it today, I'd like to be able to use it today, not next week or next month.
Its hard to tell if a juice is bad most times...because I may like a juice, where you may not & think its bad..
As for aging too long, I keep a bottle of unflavored nic juice handy to dilute if I need to.
I look at handcrafted juices the same way I do wines, they often have to age to be palatable. Chinese juice is like domestic beer, it's ok right off the shelf but it usually ain't all that great.
