Finding the right juice is the hardest part of this adventure. Everyone's taste is different. What others have raved about I didn't like or couldn't taste. Most say steeping does help, a few think it is silly. Either way it doesn't hurt to give it a try. There are many theories on the best method. Personally, I just shake it well, sit it in a cupboard, and revisit it in a couple of weeks (personally I have never seen a difference in doing this). Try buying samples until you find the juice you like. Good luck....let us know how you do. :)

I believe some juice improves greatly steeped. Others are great upon arrival and don't seem to change 30 days later.
I have some juice that when I get it, it's just "ok". Left alone for 30+ days and watch out...it's a totally different product.

Keep in mind this topic is subject to some opposing opinions. Ask me if I care. It's like "taste" of juice. It's hard to find 2 users to agree on some.

We do what we do...cause we can. Each to their own. What you do has zilch effects on anyone else.
So in the end, do it and try it - or not. The choice is all yours.:thumb:

Good luck:vapor:

props to Rosco for their great answer. Some juice will improve over time. Various companies are famous for their steeping time. Backwoods Brew is a great vendor and their liquid usually takes about two weeks minimum to steep. I've found that extracted tobacco liquids need to steep unless the vendor has steeped them for awhile. Most liquids that are simply flavorings squirted into pg/vg are good to go from the beginning. I've got a bottle of Malty Toffee from Backwoods Brew. It's great now and in a week it will be fantastic. One of my favorite vendors is Kick Bass Vapor. Very few of their juice needs to steep. It's good to go when it arrives in the mail. Want2Vape extracts their own tobaccos (and is fantastic!) and they really don't need to steep because they're already pre-steeped.

To describe the best way to steep, just keep it in a dark place away from sunlight and temperature controlled. Some people leave the cap off for 24 hours initially, others don't. Some liquids need a week, others may need months. It's going to be your own adventure and preference. Dark, temperature controlled, and patience are the key to steeping.

With the juices that I vape, steeping is prime. If you let Boba's Bounty steep, to me, it tastes more like tobacco (a really good one) with a nice sweet underlining. It's good fresh (sweeter) but just as good aged.

Malty Toffee from Backwoods Brew is my all time favorite, and it definitely (in my opinion) tastes much better around 6-8 weeks of age. Would you like to see some age differences of Malty Toffee?

The darkest (second pic) was 2 months old at the time... tis gone now though :(

I try new vendors & flavors when I get them, but tend to toss most everything in the juice cellar, as I think steeping is fact rather than fiction. IMO, it takes a little bit of time for the flavors to properly diffuse into the PG/VG/Nic base. Some vendors say to shake & vape, but even their juices are more balanced after a couple of weeks.
