If you wish to step them quickly

bring a very small pot of water to a slow boil
turn off the stove and wait until the water stops boiling
drop capped mixed juice into water for 10 minutes
shake well
slowly remove cap
vape
repeat

This can be done with an electric kettle as well and is better then straight vapping a cold mix. Even made to order juices spend time in warm trucks getting shaken around for a few days.

To age the mix is another story involving days of letting air get at the mixture, shake and repeat the next day.

This is what I do! I love using hot water baths because it's quick and easy. And don't nuke your liquids, it can change the chemistry of VG and make it toxic...or so I've heard.

I'm certainly not an expert, but another method you can use is to use an ultrasonic cleaner to quickly steep juice. Trust me my posts are always very long winded so you don't want me to try and explain it. If you do a search here on the forum and search for ultrasonic cleaner steeping you'll find at least 2 threads that discuss this method. I just tried it today for the first time with good results on 2 bottles. Good luck.

I'm not really a "steeper" but this is something I just started doing. I have a desk lap (that's usually on) sitting the the left of my laptop. I've found that if I place a bottle of juice under the lamp, beside the exhaust fan on my laptop, it does a pretty good job of warming the juice. I don't know how much this helps if at all, I just started doing it.

I just took a shot a making my own e-juice with and even after steeping in a dark cabinet for over a week, the flavor just isnt prominent. It cant be my flavor % because ive gradually added more flavor (almost 2ml in a 10ml batch) with no change in the intensity of my flavor. The flavor is Capella's snickerdoodle which should have a strong and sweet taste, but it just wont chnge. Should i add something else or let it steep more?

ehleeought,

One of my favorite reads on DIY is a blog by Hoosier on how more is less in flavoring levels.. by chance have you read it? If you have sorry, Im not familiar with the flavor you mentioned. If you have not, check it out and his other blogs on DIY.. They have been real helpful to me.. E-Cigarette Forum - Hoosier - Blogs

Good Luck

Thanks a lot, after reading the link to Hoosier's blog I've come to the conclusion that I may have overshot and added too much flavor. Do you know if there is a way to save the juice somehow by adding more PG/VG?

Alot of great stuff in the DIY section, it certainly is a great resource.... As far as giving advice on saving your juice, other than repeating what I hear the veterans say all the time.... "Throw it in the oops bin for later or coat their drain pipes" I would have to defer to someone with more experience. It might be helpful if you have kept notes on what you have added so far to your mix, with regards to nic, base, flavor, what your target nic % is. They may need to know this, and you may wish to start a new thread as it may get buried in a thread about steeping..

Good Luck!
