Steeping?

I'm a relatively new vaper, and I had heard a lot of buzz about Boba's Bounty. I went ahead and ordered some (and a bottle of PG Hype too) in 18mg. The juice smelled really good, but I found it to be quite harsh and not particularly enjoyable to vape. I am wondering if I just got too high of a nic level or if I need to let the juice steep longer? I was running it through an aspire ET-S BDC, which I saw in another thread a number of folk had good luck with this combination. Thanks for any feedback.

I suppose the other possibility is that Boba's just isnt my cup o tea, but many of the other recommendations I have gotten have been spot on...

once I a while, you do get this God awful liquid that taste like antifreeze..............
and my first time, I didn't know about letting it sit for a couple weeks, so I played around with it....
I even added booze to it.......
nothing works, just time...... it's been weeks and I can still remember that taste......... almost turned me off vaping......
worse than smoking plastic!

it does happen..... just take it back and get a replacement........

(get this, ever since, I don't try any new flavours that are the color of antifreeze...... those pinkish ones)

From my experience steeping doesn't really change the throat hit, it is usually blend the flavors better.

BTW, what's the PG/VG ratio you ordered? high PG can also give you too much TH.

I was under the impression that all of AVEjuice was essentially max VG...

You're right it was my mistake, they're all high VG
Anyway 18mg may give you a high throat hit even without PG.

The higher the nicotine mg the harsher the throat hit will be I would suggest trying it in a lower mg to see if you still feel that harsh throat hit. Please let me know if you have any questions

Boba's is one of those mystery VG liquids somehow manages to still deliver a good kick in the back of the throat. But unlike other liquids the more power you put into Boba's the more mellow it vapes. I.E. if you are vaping at 6 watts it seems to carry whatever is causing the TH much better than vaping at 10 watts. At 6mg Boba's can still deliver a nice TH. I would advise trying a lower MG for less TH but since you already have the 18mg try increasing your power output a bit at a time and see if you like it. Boba's does also take on much different flavor profiles at various power settings.
