Thank you, what do they do differently? I assume they do something different with the vapor or change some effect and what are the different modes for?
a lot of it comes down to personal preferences and vaping style...

TC (temp control) uses specific wire types (Ni200, Titanium, Stainless Steel) to check temp by means of variations in coil resistance changing as it gets hot, based on a known temp coeffecient curve (short version, TC reads the coil temp and cuts off if coil is getting too hot - say, for example, out of juice, and keeps the coil from burning the cotton) - lots of folks like TC vaping - you set temp based on what you like (warmer/ cooler vape) and go...

Wattage mode just applies wattage to coil, based on your settings - personally, even though i have several TC devices, i generally run wattage mode - i am a bit ocd, so i just make sure i don't run the tank dry or add juice to dripper when it is getting dry

really a matter of preferences - both modes produce vapor :)

@dcfluegel I just posted a thread in vaping disussions but think you maybe able to help me. I wicked the preinstalled coil on the rba and I think I've used enough wick but think I might be blocking the juice holes or something cause the vape feels off.
scotty - are you using the v2 rba (big wick holes on sides or rba barrel?)

when you say 'it feels off' - not producing much vapor? tastes funny?

Anyone know what the best unicorn bottle is it there? I bought one, plastic threads stripped I don't even know how that's possible and it leaked everywhere and there went that liquids. I don't want to buy another to waste more liquid so anyone have a suggestion for a site?

Ok, am I doing something wrong or do I have the wrong stuff? I took my tank apart today (Top Box Mini kit)because it's been leaking since I got it. I found the glass to be pitted on both ends to the point of being chipped. I.purchased a Kanger Subtank Mini glass replacement and Kanger o rings. I was surprised to learn that the glass in the box that reads subtank mini is way longer then the glass I have from my kit. Further complicating issues neither glass will fit over the top o ring no matter how greased it is. When I said f it and put the original glass back on, it wouldn't slide over and the glass has a gap between the top like it doesn't fit. Which would lead me to believe that it's the wrong glass. It took my husband over an hour and he finally put the old glass on and the o ring is literally squeezing out the sides of the glass...I am so confused as to what the hell I am doing wrong, I just want this thing to work....any ideas here?

On one of my Subtank Mini's I had a glass which had a small chip. I was able to turn it upside down and reassemble and it stopped leaking. The subtank mini's all came with a spare oring set and glass as well.

BUT...you have the Topbox Mini which is a totally different animal. I looked for glass and found replacement glass on Amazon and here: Replacement Glass Tube Kanger Toptank Mini . I have yet to find spare orings, and the other tank orings will not fit... If you're still having issues, you can always try the cold and heat method...put the tank in the freezer for a bit, and warm the glass in hot water.
