Now I am very confused here you mentioned two different tanks...I thought my tank was called a subtank ? What is the tank I need for my top box mini?
The Subtank Mini AND Topbox mini (called TOPTANK Mini) are 2 different tanks. They call it a top box because it has a top fill function. Relatively new on the market I haven't seen too many parts being offered.

The Topbox tank IS a subtank (as in it can be run with below 1.0 ohm coils- called the "TOPTANK Mini"). The name "Subtank" (original was a bottom fill only) was a Kanger invention when they led the market/industry. Competition has somewhat changed with new players in for the piece of pie. Uwell Crown and Aspire for examples.

I am really surprised they haven't started selling o ring kits like they do with the rest of their products. The glass is available and perhaps a new glass will correct the leaking.

Just remember when you order parts/coils etc... "TOPTANK Mini" is your tank.

My husband and i I just moved into our first house, he still smokes and will not try vaping...he claims he's researched it and vaping leaves a residue on the walls and furniture like smoking and insists I go outside...can someone tell me if this is true and it really stains the walls? Maybe some of you that have been vaping for a long time, have you seen this ? Obviously I don't want to mess up my house but I just started vaping and I really would like to enjoy this in my house. Sadly unless I get overwhelming feedback or a link to a site that can say this for sure, I am going to be forced to go outside...I think he's just ...... he has to freeze lol but if anyone can help me I would be most grateful

at the local vape shop it does leave stuff on the windows. the people that work there, the owner and most of their customers are cloud chasers and at times its hard to see out the windows. they do clean them atleast once a day. of course when I use to smoke it messed up my car windows pretty good. a lot more than vaping does but I vape around 10 watts so not a lot of vapor and it is cleaner than tobacco smoke

@2Irish4u If that was correct, I'd be more concerned about my lungs than the walls of my house.

I suppose I better stop cooking inside and build my kitchen outside. I'm sorry to say luv but your husband is being nit picky and speaking out false information.. Grab a rubber mallet and tap him on the head will yah? ;p

Heya Irish (welcome to the forum!)
I don't think the residue is anything to be alarmed about. Yes, in the car eventually and leave a film on the windows, but that's a glycerin-type film, not nasty tar-laced smoky residue like it was with smoking.

It'd be about the same as running a fog machine in your house a little each day, from what I've read. IOW, no worries. :)

I want to lol it's just ridiculous, it's water vapor. He's got this idea in his head, that vaping is bad and it stains, I think he's just being an [edited] cause he's still smoking. I figure if I get enough of you that say the same maybe I'll get thru. I haven't been vaping long so.I really don't know for sure but with the term vapor....lol

I also don't vape high vg I vape 50/50 and anything I read said it's the vg that leaves more of a residue if in fact that's even true. He doesn't want me messing up the new house which I don't want to either but I honestly can't imagine that since your not actually blowing smoke that it would actually stick to the walls, this house is big too high ceilings and big open spaces so it's not like I'll be facing the wall blowing vapor at it lol

I've been vaping for a couple of years in my little apartment (never smoked in by me), and have not seen any abnormal residue on walls or windows or any other surface. I'm a heavy vaper too, especially when sitting at my desk working or playing online. :D I just tested the wall in front of the desk, and it's fine. :)

I think the residue spoken of in this context is that left on the coils. Yes, a lot of vg can gunk up coils. It can but doesn't have to if you use good gear, or stick with a balanced base like you do.

Thank you all, I am still not getting thru but at least for now I have the bathroom and the kitchen. He is one of those people that's reads something, gets it stuck in his head and that's it. I didn't quit smoking to freeze my rear off outside so until he pays the whole mortgage, I say he can kiss my a** lol thank you for all your feedback, I particularly like the hit him with a mallet post, that was funny!! I believe most vapers are pretty laid back people, my husband is one of the most uptight, .... people I've ever met, this should be interesting HAHA

The only place I see vapor residue is inside of my car windshield. It's clear and isn't thick or sticky to the touch, so I wouldn't know it was there except for when the sun shines in at certain angles. I've never noticed it anywhere in the house - even on the monitor I have been blowing vapor at for years.
