That's one sweet mod you got there! Where did you get the caps from? Is it possible to do this with only one 14500 battery? i really want to make as small a 5v mod as possible.
I went to ti but there are many different models of the 4050(ex: 4050cad, cah,cas, etc.) would you be so kind and point me to the right one. Thanks!

With these particular samples from TI, I believe you're only allowed 1 free sample of each.
Scroll down the page and just click the samples for 1 of each, and that's it. Regardless of the different designations, 3 of them will be almost identical and you can't tell em apart. One of them will have no legs to connect anything to. You'll see what I mean when you get them, but they all have the same functional specs. And that's what matters.
