I've had my eGo-t for a couple of weeks now. There are thinks I like about it and things I don't.

Positives:
1. Easy to fill.
2. Holds a nice amount of juice.
3. Tips are cheap.

Negatives:
1. Vapor production is inconsistent.
2. Sometimes leaks if the tip loosens.
3. Tip sometimes floods. (= lots of juice in the mouth)
4. The atomizers are somewhat expensive. Especially if the don't last long.

Since I've never tried cartos I don't know what to expect. Can anyone give me the low down? Which ones are the longest lasting and most reliable?

Thanks!

They're disposable. You can refill them quit a few times and some people even wash them but they're made to be disposable. I think the Boge hold about 1 ml of juice. I think the tank holds more, but I seem to go through less juice with cartos because the tanks seem to be a bit of a juice hog.

I fill about 3-4 and when I'm not getting a lot of flavor, I replace it with another one. At the end of the night I just fill refill them. Just make sure not to vape them dry. It'll taste nasty and it burns them.

I have the tank system and I think you'll find the larger B types more consistent than the earlier A types. That said, I think people who can afford it to try a lot of things including cartos. I'm trying out the Bloog right now and it's a good vape. Not as much vapor as the tank but still good flavor and decent vapor for a carto.

I tried the eGO tank system and did not like it. Vapor was inconsistent, a little too cool, and the tanks imparted some sort of a plastic-like taste. I went back to cartos...the Joye 510 cartos. While they don't hold as much, I find the taste much better. I just make sure that as soon as the vapor or flavor drops off I refill. After tearing one apart and examining it, I no longer use the syringe method. Just drip drops through the battery end. Works for me. They need to work on the tank system before I'll try it again.

I use E-go or riva batteries with my Tank and my cartos. My only problem with the tank is that it seems to take away from my throat kick. I used a tank for 2 weeks straight after being a carto guy for years. I loved the tank, but when I threaded my carto back on once I ran out of tank tips, I vowed never to go back to the tank. Yes it may hold a little more liquid, but the consistency and throat kick from the carto is much better. Plus I could buy two 5 packs of cartos for 8.99 a piece and those will last me forever, as a tank may cost around 16 bucks just for the atty.

hope this helps.

I noticed the plastic taste on a set of clear tanks I bought...I ended up having to boil them to get rid of that taste. The black ones however tasted fine?

Long lasting BLANK cartos, try Ikenvape 510 Gold V2 (2.5 ohms), not cheap but last longer than others. The best match blank cartos for eGo is the Boge 510 low resistance with soft tip at 2.0 ohms (good price at LiteCigUsa). To keep the carto from drying out on top, I use a top feeder, VapeMate, from SuperTmanufacturing. Top Feeder ( can be used with cartomizers or atomizers)
