This has probably been asked and answered a zillion times but after spending all day surfing I still can't sift through everything to find the 'simple' answer.

Is there a listing of parts needed for a from scratch big battery mod and if so where is it?!? This is just my opinion but wouldn't that make a good sticky? I've seen multiple posts about scavenging connections from dead batteries but I have a blu :( while I've read but not confirmed that a 510 atty is supposed to be compatible I don't know. I'm a poor boy trying to:
1) get out from under the $8 a pack price of analogs here in Washington
2) trying to spend the least amount to build a screwdriver/straight pipe.
3) really wanting to get a good solid PV without resorting to the box mod. It's hard enough to convince people it's an e-cig without having to convince them it's not a remote detonator!!!

Thanks in advance to everyone. There really is a ton of good info on here and some pretty amazing designs in the works from some of you guys!

Well, you've already done that by getting a PV (regardless of what type).
$8 per pack is not a difficult budget to beat with PVs.
Realistically, you can expect to spend in the neighborhood of $2 per day (or less) on Vaping.
This of coarse, After your initial expenses of trying different things and finding your perfect setup. That process can get pricy. But in the long run, you will make up for the cost of your setup.

2) trying to spend the least amount to build a screwdriver/straight pipe.
Do you really want to put a price tag on your PV?
Seriously, even the most expensive PV will be much cheaper (in the long run) then smoking cigarettes.

really wanting to get a good solid PV without resorting to the box mod.
510 Ego from Cignot.com.
don't have one myself, but plan to get one eventually.

For now, I have a Blu as well.
But i just recently discovered 510 Cartomizers.
Yes, they work on Blu Batteries. And they work very well actually...

After a little math, counting Juice, Batteries (1 battery per month) and Cartomizers...my daily cost of
Vaping is $1.45

Can't beat that.

Hey whynot. Check out this thread. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/battery-mods/75449-pipe-mods-step-step-threads.html
It helped me get started. Here's a pic of a diagram for a basic pipe mod drawn by Jeff aka Max, the guy that builds the Chuck. foglog diagram.jpg
