Currently have blucig and Joye 510

I like both but I'm looking for an upgrade, I really want taste and battery life more so than clouds of vapor at this point.

[[510 Only if I drip does it produce great taste] lots of vapor production]
[[Blucig taste is great with filled cart or drip] semi ok vapor production]
(gonna try blue foam mod with 510 to see if that helps with taste from cart)

Im at a cross roads and a mod is what I need now... I think;

Have always considered getting a Screwdriver MKII or Silver bullet or a Chuck.

But the price would be for a whole knew unit, so Im trying to consider getting parts of other mods that would be compatible with my 510 atty etc unless another atty would be better DSE 901? Never used it before so not sure if its a better "taste" provider than the 510 which I find is ok, but great if I drip.

Only mod I've seen that I could take parts from is the TW tornado; Cone, Battery, Charger, Low resistance atty and its about 40$-ish which is about half the price of the full mod kits I listed above for use with my current parts.

Any suggestions so I can make the proper purchase upgrade this time so I can convince my wife Im not nuts for doing this. (I've given up analogs already from day one on ecigs, Im just addicted to this new hobby now :D)

I'm still using only a 510 but looking to buy a eGo/tornado soon.
From what i've read, taste is excellent as well as vapor production.
Battery life seems to be amazing (all day long with one battery).

Glad to hear you've given up analogs from day one, thats what I did too and it's the best thing i've done in a long time!

What I did was get an eGo/tornado battery for my 510 atty's and filled the carts with rite size U. Now I have the new 510 cartomizers on order to try.

I love the eGo/tornado battery because it usually lasts me all day. The ritesize U is great too, but seems to always look wet on top, but if I push it down into the cart some more all these bubbles come up and I can see that most of the juice is gone (of course I can taste that anyway).

I'm still looking for my perfect cart mod though (or a way to not have to refill my carts every 15 minutes when I'm heavy vaping) and that's why I'm trying the cartomizers. We'll see. Good Luck with your journey.

Any reason you'd pick the chuck over the others?

'cause they look AWESOME! and you can custom order what you want it to look like and they charge lasts for something like 3 days I think. I looked at those too (google thag built) they're pretty cool, maybe someday. I'm happy with my 12 hour eGo though (for now)... :p

I own 3 Chucks and they are well built devices but heavy and not pocket friendly.

They look cool and work great but there are other considerations to keep in mind such as do you carry this in your pocket. Chuck isn't going to be good in that category. Switch isn't pocket friendly either.

The Chuck has its place. It is well built 3 and 6v vaping..

3.7v is great but 6v is too much for me. 5v is probably just right.
However LR 510s on a 3.7 is rocking...

THE VYPR-510 is a good 3.7 volt mod with the LR 510 atties and the button is pocket friendly (hard to hit the little button). Drew sells the LR atties and they really need to be dripped and kept really wet or they dont last very long. the V4 screw driver I also have with the LR atties work get and are pocket freindly also because of the tapper where the button is. There is also a box mod 5V that has an on and off switch that i'm thinking about getting. remeber that i'm a dude and i dont were tight ... jeans....

Early March I started with a Joye 510, within 2 weeks I switched to a DSE 905 (Screwdrive) to obtain better battery life. I also bought my Dad & Husband a DSE 905 both of them are still using theirs and doing really well with them. After about 3 weeks mine flew out of my hands landing on the atty (training dogs can be rough on equipment) which somehow caused the plastic plug thing the atty screws into to break into 2 pieces disconnecting a wire so it's broken. I then went back to the 510 and preordered a BSB (black silver bullet( I LOVE this pv the battery goes forever but will now purchase something probably an BB because I do need something smaller when I am out and about. The new pv will be only for appearances as I have a cell phone case that holds the SB super well. I also have have a Protege super classy but I'm still trying to get the switch fixed. So there you have my first 7 weeks of vaping. BUT SMOKE FREE SINCE 03/15/2010.
