Since there are only two Stickys for this discussion I thought I'd read the one called "WTA - the issues", posted by rolygate. I wasn't allowed to send him a PM so I have to post this here, but I need to know...what's WTA? I read the thread but skimmed a lot because it was so long, so hopefully I didn't just miss the definition. If rolygate reads this I'd like to ask him if he can add the definition of WTA to the beginning of that thread. Sorry if knowing what WTA is is supposed to be common knowledge.

No need to apologize for not knowing what WTA is. I would guess it is not all that common for ECF folks to have the inside scope as to what it is.

The idea of WTA evolved out of this thread

This is a monster of a thread that goes on to novel length. There is a very good summery of the thread

Basically the idea of WTA came about because some percentage of people where not able to quit smoking, or at least were going through a big struggle, with standard nicotine only e-liquid. Others where able to easily quit smoking with little to no issues. There was a search to figure out why.

Reading the above links should get you up to speed as to the what and why of WTA.

The concept of WTA came to light in the fall of 2009, but has only recently become available to the public from several venders. That is understandable as venders can't just go out and buy WTA based e-liquid, mix in some flavor, and sell it. They have to do the extraction themselves. That is not a process for the kitchen table, but takes a well equipped lab with knowledgeable professional chemist.
