OK so I've been vaping now for 3 months and completely tossed the stinkies (yay!) but I have a couple of concerns now... When we first started I took to choosing the liquids that tasted like the cigarettes I liked to smoke (a mix of tobacco and menthol) and did ok with it I suppose but now I've finally moved on to richer and definitely more fun flavors. We got a couple of bottles of liquid from a friend of ours who has been doing this quite a bit longer and I've been trying some of those out and liked them.

My current favorite flavor is a mixture of red hot cinnamon and a sweet menthol making it like those peppermint candies you get from Pizza Hut.. The issue I have is: Now that I've finished off the bottle of liquid we got from our friend, I ordered a bottle of 'Fireball' from Liberty Flights and even though I've seen all kinds of great reviews for it, it just tastes like pepper to me.

I recently started reading posts on here about steeping new flavors and such and saw one post about how someone left their bottles in front of a projector heater overnight.. So last night I left my mixed bottle of Fireball and Nport (as well as my Kiwi flavor which so far has tasted like dust) in front of my heat vent on my laptop for a couple of hours. Today I opened the bottles and the smell is INSANELY stronger and much more appetizing.

What I guess I need to know is if the smell is the correct clue that the flavor is what it should be now. I've actually vaped most of the Fireball already because the mix with the Nport was actually not too bad but I did kinda want the sweetness of the candy flavor that everyone talks about and that the site actually advertised it to taste like. I also need to know if I should even order another bottle or if it will taste bland no matter what..

Please and thank you :D

Edit: We also left a bottle of Peach cap off overnight in a box to see if that works.. Haven't tried it yet, waiting on the fiance getting home tonight to try.

Smell does not always mean a good vape. I don't force heat my liquid, I let them air out with bottles open if they have a strong alcohol smell or a chemical smell to them. Some juices did not get better with steeping, most mellowed and developed a more complex flavor, some were ready right out of the bottle.

I usually see if the vendor has any info on their site about steeping their juice if not then I go with my nose first then taste. That having been said, most of the juice I have had got better with a little time. :vapor:

All taste is subjective.

To answer your question, yes and no. If it smells stronger, it could taste better, but there is a possibility it could smell awesome and is oversteeped. Also, all smell is subjective.

Hope that helps.

This is good advice, I too have tried forcing heat on some juices to steep. I set the bottles in water that I nuked in the microwave for a couple minutes. The juice turned from a light mellow flavor to a harsh juice with barely any flavor at all.

Well my tank is about half empty.. I'm debating on if I want to mix in the heated liquid and try it or wait til its empty and try it fresh..

If you like cinnamon there's really only one flavor you need to try and thats Atomic Cinnacide.Ive always used that straight out of the bottle with no steeping needed. Be careful, cinnamon is a known lung irritant and if you use it in plastic tanks it can eat the tanks and even the caps.

Forgot to mention that you can get Atomic Cinnacide from Tasty Vapor. If the hubby likes peach I highly recommend Hype from Alien Visions. It tastes like those peach ring candies or peach schnapps and sometimes needs a bit of steeping to bring out the flavor.

LOL thats the flavor I got from our friend! I loved it but don't know where to get it.. His was a 0 nic and I mixed it with my Nport which is 24 nic so I got a lighter nic but could vape all day no jitters hehe.. And I know about that too sadly.. I had to toss my old tank which was plastic.. The one I'm using now is glass and doing quite well :)

I've tried steeping juices very quickly using heat sources and found they were oversteeped. The quickest method I know and use is:
Shake bottle and place bottle in hot tap water for 45 mins. Place in dark cupboard.
Next a.m. shake bottle, remove cap, allow fresh air in, recap and place back in cupboard.
Next a.m. shake bottle, remove cap and place open bottle back in cupboard.
Next a.m. shake and vape.
Or
you can just allow your juice to sit in a dark cupboard for 2-3 weeks.

I recommend trying out Ivapes Frostfire if you like cinnamon. Thats my favorite cinnamon flavor. Ive never tried tasty vapors juices.

Their Atomic Cinnacide tastes just like one of those red hot fireball candies and is probably the strongest cinnamon flavor you can vape.

Anoher one I forgot to mention is Composed Chaos' Peaches En Regalia should pop up on a web search...its peaches, cinnamon and dulce de leche. Its pretty good but has kind of a cookie under taste to it like most of Kick Bass Vapors juices.

I found out the hard way one night that Im allergic to wormwood.I was partying in the vip room with a goth band one night, drinking absinthe that someone brought over from england and ending up getting so sick I thought I was going to die. I stumbled into a 6 foor talll dressing mirror on the way out of the room and shattered it into a million pieces.

It might not have been an allergy as I later learned that entire band was sick as well.might have just been a bad batch.
