So, you're using the AGI as a dripper and find that IGO's are better, but you really want to use it with the tank, correct? If I got that right, do you realize that in tank mode it's a gennie using a wick into the tank, rather than a dripper setup? They are completely different specially if you are going to use SS mesh.

If you are mainly interested in advice for the dripper setup, some pictures of your setup would help. Also, once you get 5 posts in you can post in the RBA forum here. You can read it now.

Todd has reviewed it and thinks it's great as a dripper, so there is hope yet :thumb:.

So, you want info on how to get more performance from the AGI set up as a tank.

I've been using a AGA-T for a few months now. I have it setup with a wick hole drilled to 1/8" and an air hole drilled to 1/16". I make my SS wick as solid as possible and use 27 gauge Kanthal in a 3/4 wrap (comes in at about 0.6 ohms) using the drill bit method, sliding the wick in after. Leaves the coil just lightly touching the wick. I don't oxidize the wick with flame, but pulse the battery after assembly.

I'm getting great flavor from my juices but I make my own so I modify the recipe according to the device I'll be using it on. I position the air hole right beside the coil. That definitely improves flavor compared to having it elsewhere at the cost of less TH. I don't know if the flavor as a genesis will ever be as good as a dripper.

I think the RBA forum would be a lot more help to you. Some of those guys know all the ins and outs of these devices!
