So I understand that a new member must make five posts in the new member forum, which I have done. It's been almost a whole day since I hit that mark and I still can't post in the other sections. Did I miss something? thanks in advance!

Sometimes it takes a while for them to unlock your abilities to post in other areas. I have noticed tons of people who join a day so it takes them awhile because of having to monitor, handle member inquiries and such. I would give it another day or 2. It took me about 2-3 days after 15 posts to be able to get my signature banner, so it may take a little bit. Welcome to the forums though.

Thanks bud! Having a great time so far. Just soo much to learn for a guy like me who is new into vaping. I got the general idea but there are so many different methods and equipment to learn about. then there is all the different flavors of juice and even what ratio of PG/VG do I need. Definitely going to keep me busy!

The server does updates at set intervals about once an hour but this is one busy place (nearing 20,000 active members... wow). I have seen the servers get a bit sluggish sometimes carrying such a startling load. Some say logging out and back in fixes it but I believe I've seen mods say that's not necessary. Though at least it doesn't hurt anything if you try.

I'd say just keep playing around in New Members a while, see if the system catches up. At 15 posts, you get to have a sig and some other stuff. You only need another four at the time I posted this...

I noticed I have the same problem, figured I would let it slide for a bit and see if the server eventually catches up.

I'd hate to seem too gun-ho and ruffle any feathers. Hahaha
