Still new and still needing a little help!

So I've been vaping for a week or so now. I love it! Managed to cut wayyyy down on cigarettes, and with that I am super proud of myself.

To my problem....the battery I bought (innokin v3) came with a tank that I didn't really like. So I bought a different one from a 'vape' shop near to me. My ecig was happily charging when my cats knocked it from its shelf and it broke...gah. so I had to go back to the original tank. I ordered an 'Aspire BDC' and that arrived today. I love it so far, BUT whilst it screws onto my battery theres a decent sized gap which annoys me.

So my questions are:

Is there anything I can buy to place in this gap to make it look less...well silly?

And second question is,
What batterys work well with the Aspire BDC?

Thanks for reading!

Alex.

Welcome Alex! Congrats on reducing your cigarette intake :)

+1 on Prairie guy's suggestion for the "cone cover" - might also be called a "beauty ring". I don't have the Aspire, but I have a couple of kayfun clones which are "larger" like the Aspire. I have the MVP2 (big brother to the VV3) on which the larger tanks sit well. It's basically the same operational capabilities as the VV3, but it's got a 2600 maH battery, instead of the 800 maH of the VV3.

I like the MVP (even though it's boxier and heavier than the VV3). I currently don't mess with separate batteries, but I've been looking at tube mods (Vamo V5/Provari) that are regulated, but use the replaceable batteries.... Haven't pulled that trigger yet.

Both my MVPs came with a beauty ring, so that helps "stabilize" the larger tanks. Other than that, I use mostly EVODs or a mini PT2 (all of which are eGo threaded) and I don't need the ring for those.

Cheers

You'll find the MVP 2.0 to be VERY popular on here. Fully adjustable & last all day, or 2. Tanks go more on personal preference. My favorite is the Mega with the Areotank close behind. I've ordered a couple Areotank V2's, the Mega's little brother. I use 1600 mah Visions to travel with & the Protanks I have are fitted with flow control bases. I go for flavor, long lasting battery life & dependability. Air flow & power adj. are really more important than I ever thought they would be. Each juice seems to have it's own "sweet spot" in the air/power settings. I got to ECF several hundred $$$ before I figured that out. I think the ability to adj both power & air is more important than brand. Hope this helps a little !!! :) :) :)

If you are looking to fill that gap the "cone cover" is usually called a beauty ring on the online and brick and mortar stores. They are relatively inexpensive, and cover the gap well. I would look for one that either has a few small notches on the top or a hole or two drilled in.

I use an aspire bdc on an evod twist, but it works well on an itaste vv3, or any battery for that matter. I do like it on a vv battery more than a standard battery because I think it takes a little more battery power to utilize the dual coils of the bdc.
