Hehehehe.....that Day 3 and Day 4 are something else huh? Talk about freaking out...it's a real battle of the mind...congratulations you made it. So here we are the eve of Day 6, tomorrow will mark 1 week and so the journey begins.

Hang tough Grandpa...if you can do 1 week, you can do 2, and if you can do 2 weeks, you can do a month. Your true desire to change is what will determine your success and from what I am seeing you got all the right stuff.

Just keep in mind that quitting analogs is like landing a big fish. You've just set the hook (1st week), don't cowboy that fish the only way he getting off is if you screw up.

You know it's gonna make a few strong runs (cravings) before it starts to tire out especially when it gets to boat (don't let your guard down) so don't even worry about the net. Just concentrate on keeping the pressure and your rod tip up (always have your PV and plenty to vape on hand) and if he tires and pops up sideways dial back the drag a little just in case he tail slaps (keep some stronger mgs juice or cartos around in case of a high stress situation) and make one last big run.(hard...out of the blue cravings after 3 months)

When you finally get that fish in the net (6 months) just flip the net over itself on the floor of the boat, stand on it, forget the hook just grab the headache stick (9 months). No need for a stringer, fire up the motor and head straight into the launch. Take out the hook, put your gas tank on the net, square away your gear, put the boat on the trailer, then pull that bad boy out because it's time (1 year) for a Kodak moment.

:p

Snow,
That was Awesome my Friend! You have quite the way with words and the analogy was Perfect! :) Thank you! :) I'm going to print that one out and keep it! :)

I did hook a Huge fish over the weekend, in fact several. But I was fishing a rough stretch of water and those fish really knew how to use the current to their advantage! :( Here's a photo of one that I lost right at the shore line.

My wife was ready with the camera to record the moment. :)
