Still no Buzz Joy

I was having issues with certain 510 attys with an adapter.

I ordered the 510 ca, but the wire broke when I was screwing it back together.

I sent it in for repairs, and just got it back--great service on the turnaround time!

But alas, it doesn't work! The LED comes on with nothing connected, and when you screw in an atomizer/cartomizer it stays on and then goes off when contact is made.

I am using Ultrafire 3.6 volt 800mah hour rechargeable batteries--the silver ones.

Any help would be appreciated. I already email Notcigs, but figured getting advice from the pros here couldn't hurt.

Are you sure your batteries are charged ? can you measure the voltage for me please , either that or you have a short in the adapter or atomizer / carto .
We test everything 100% for range and output on each unit .

The batteries were just pulled off the charger, and I used a brand new carto and atty to test.

I don't use an adapter anymore, I am using the 510 top.

I'll try another set of batteries just to make sure.

What is weird is the attys and cartos work on other devices.

I do not own a volt meter, but before I do anything I'll order the needed adapter and pick one up.

Try not turning the atomizer in all the way and them try it , then slowly turn it in more there may be a short happening ? not all 510's are made the same .

you can grab a meter and still test the voltage without the adapter.. the adapter makes it a LOT easier.. but all ya need to do is hold a lead on the center, and another on the outside, and press the button to check voltage.. yes, you have to do a little hand contortion, but it works

I had the same problem with another mod and 2 14500 batteries. Turned out to be the circuit protection in the batteries shutting off for some reason. They would work on some mods but not others. I'm assuming this because voltage for batt was 4.2 when out of unit, but nothing when pressing the button and voltage checking at connection. I put in a different battery and all was good and it worked fine. Just a thought.

I have been away and didn't do any testing, but per suggestions I checked my batteries and the charger I was using wasn't giving a full charge. Put is some freshies and it works!
