while the setup is super easy, finding just the right amount of wick for the KF can be tricky. took me a few tries but now I have a standard setup that dumps out the flavor for my juice. before that it put out plenty of vapor but seemed a little dry.

Thanks for your input Thrasher.
Do you think less wick is better ?
Could it be that the bottom airflow give less flavor than the side one like in Igo-l ?

Cotton can be tricky as Thrasher said... less is more typically.

Right now I'm running the textbook/tutorial setup in my KFL clone (2mm Ekowool, figure 8, standard 4 or 5 wrap coil of 28awg, 1.3ohms @ 10watts) and both flavor and vapor are great. It definitely holds it's own against my IGO-L/microcoil/cotton setup in both departments.

I received 3 Tobecco Kayfun from ChinaBuye yesterday and after a good cleaning with soap i set up one with a micro coil and cotton and the second with 3mm Ekowool .
They both worked fine but to my surprise,i still prefer my IGO-L in the flavor department ,i spent the evening using my Igo-l .
Am i missing something here ??

I have an IGO T, and I like it almost as much as my KFL+. It is easier to set up and start dripping on, but once I got the hang of my KFL, it is better flavor than any other RBA or RDA I have tried. That said, I really, really like the IGO. Nice tight chamber, lots of options, easy to work on. They are nice compliments to each other. I do notice that the positive leg on the IGO works its way loose every day or two and requires to be re-tightened. I guess the thermal expansion and contraction does this, I am not quite sure though. It has the slotted posts for connecting the wire, so perhaps that is why...

In any case, both are great devices and are used daily.
