Made with mostly familiar parts after looking at some telegraph switches for a historical perspective. Slight difference being if you hear the clicky sound, the safety is on, it is rather quiet in fire mode. 3mm silver plated barrel clasps for the contacts:

asdaq, after seeing your great steampunk arts I'm scratching my bold head to struggle laziness and make something similar. Just thought: what if go to a closest jeweller and ask him about soldering with a copper? I don't think that it's expensive...
P.S. When I began to make my own atomizers, I ordered silver wire in a jeweller shop. Just brought a piece of broken silver spoon and asked to make needed wire. Jeweller took about 1 g of silver as a fee :)

Thanks guys, here it is installed on the only mod of mine it fits on in the same hole as the previous switch. Something a little bit eco for Earth Day:

It's about an inch long, but could be done smaller if the magnet and contact portions were combined and the lever could be left longer for looks. The spring from the mod keeps the lever from opening too far and the hole for the 'button' is threaded so that when tightened the contacts no longer reach and there is a clicking sound to it.
