Fla Tampa area,
I started vapeing 3 weeks ago but have also been smoking analogs, just not nearly as much. Pack to pack and half down to 7-8 so let me pat myself on the back for that! LOL. I got my extra long manual battery (901)?! from VFL yesterday and it rocks! Better than USB I think! Ciggies are tasting nastier and vapor tastier and lots of vapor. I also boiled the prefilled carts with some help of the members on here (thanks if you happen to read this) I didn't like and dripped Wowboy juice! I thought prefilled carts were good, forget about it! If you are new IMO you should get a manual with juice and blank carts. Never felt ready to quit analogs till now. I'm on my back porch with my dogs. I've got analogs and PV and it's easier to make the right choice.

Everyone gets there in their own way. Some quit the day their e-cig arrives, others take weeks or even months. But if they stick with it, the overwhelming majority of people do quit cigs completely (about 83% of the people here, according to this poll: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/polls/6470-e-cig-success-rate.html).

But you've got the right approach, IMHO. No pressure. Just keep trying to make your e-cig more appealing, and cigarettes will gradually become less appealing.

Some people also use Swedish snus, to supplement their e-cigs while they switch over. There are other addictive things in tobacco besides nicotine, and some people are addicted to those other substances as well.

I prefer manual batts too, and the 901 is a good model. I use a 901 on occasion. Keep going, and yes, pat yourself on the back!
