Stillare + Plume Veil = Cooler vape and bigger clouds? O.o

So I prefer a warm to hot vape and nice plumes of vapor, which usually go hand in hand. But I think I just found The Holy Grail of Frankenstein rda combos. Stillare deck and barrel, with my Plume Veil top cap. the Small hole on the top cap of the Stillare always gave me that nice warm to hot vape, but even with the large air holes my inhalations were restricted. Out of boredom and waiting for my Plume's deck to cool down after a dry burn and rewicking, I threw my Plume's top cap on my Stillare and....

Oh my God. Cooler but still slightly warm vape, GREAT airflow, and extreme clouds. No dry hits thus far either, not that I usually get anyways, as I'm pretty good about keeping track of my hits and drops. But I highly suggest this combo to anyone that has the parts available ^^

Dual 22g A1 (Still have yet to try Nichrome, won't consider Gplat for various reasons, that's for a different time to discuss though) Kanthal, 3MM ID, .20 ohms. PLENTY of clearance, in fact the FrankenDA is a little large in all honesty. Round-about half the hight of a VTC5 with no drip tip, than again the Stillare has a tall barrel to begin with in my opinion. I have the Delrin insert of my Plume top cap down to the point where my drip tip is sitting flush with the top cap itself though, and still have room.

Oh yeah and I forgot to add, 5/4 wraps on each coil.

You're running hot so the extra height in the cap should give it room to breath-I'm pumped to give it a go-Stillare has dual parallels right now, maybe I'll re-roof that build and see how it burns-you picked two of my fav atty's so it's got to be good!

Yeah, I had a .14 in it, same build just a 2.4mm ID instead of a 3mm ID, prefer not to run that low for obvious safety reasons, though I won't judge anyone who does. Only time I ever do is when I'm at home and can just .... around and if a venting did occur I have all the required spaces and materials to properly deal with it.

The extra room is indeed the only reason it is cooler, had the same exact build in my Stillare and my Plume and it was hotter in both, but combine them and it cools the vapor and guaranteed produces more vapor (if you're building low resistance coils I can guarantee that, anything above a .3 I haven't tried on it yet) It will be my new atty until my Plume 1.5 (authentic ofc ;P) arrives.

OH YEAH!!! One important thing to note, is I 98% of the time run with my side air holes (on any RDA) wide open. That being said, the cap of the Plume doesn't go down far enough to adjust your air flow on the Stillare barrel. Though even if it did the openings aren't large enough to fully use the Stillare's cyclops holes anyways.
