Stingray clone problem

I just picked up a brass stingray clone a while ago and I'm having a problem with the switch. It worked fine when i tested it with an 18350 but when i put an 18650 and now any battery inside the magnet sticks to the battery and auto fires.Is there some fix to this that I can't figure out? I've taken the switch apart but don't understand where the problem comes from.

I am not 100% familiar with the Stingray switch, but did you ever take the switch apart and are you sure you put the magnets back in correctly?

yeah, you have to flip one of the magnets or they will attract each other rather than act like spring

Yes, sounds like you flipped a magnet.
Get them to repel - problem solved

If they attract in both directions - one is dead - likely over heated.
High heat kills magnets.

Take the switch off the mod and press it between your fingers. If it doesn't squeeze together and the spring apart then you have something wrong with the switch

On mine the magnets are solidly in other parts and don't come out easily. You should be able to unscrew the switch top and it will come off with a magnet in it and the other will still be in the switch and theyt should repel each other. If they came out you might superglue them back in and if they are dead/week try to find ones to replace them.
