Stingray x clone

I just ordered a stingray x clone by hcigar from what I've read it sounds like I may need to add some vent holes near the top of the mod I was just wondering how many should I drill and also should I add some at the bottom as well?

How hard are you going to be running it?? I have the hcigar in black and don't need any vent holes but then again my builds on a fresh battery are only around 20w or so..

I use an Hcigar Stingray X on a weekly basis. My builds are .5-.8 ohms (usually single coil - I'm lazy..) and I've never felt the need to get better venting out of it. If it ain't broke, why fix it?

Probably around .3 to. 5 adding vent holes maybe overdoing it but I've just seen way to many pics of what could happen I would just prefer to be as safe as possible,

Nothing wrong with doing it. Anyone can make a mistake that could cause a battery to vent. You could set it down or put it in your pocket/purse unlocked. Your mod could fall over/off a table and you don't think of checking your build before firing it.

I'll be honest, I haven't done it myself, but there's always the possibility I'll regret that one day.

Just got it in and drilled it out but there are some burrs on the inside left that are blocking the battery from passing through and I'm wondering what the best way to deal with this would be, I'm thinking maybe sandpaper?

I would try sandpaper.
