It's too early to know what will happen at this point. If any legislation is passed, as we all know, the legal system is fond of dragging its feet, and we should have an advanced warning.

You'd go broke doing that and the juice may end up expiring.

You could buy unflavored nic juice and keep in the freezer though. If you felt like you needed some kind of precaution. Food flavorings will always be available.

The FDA has to first issue a deeming order and then have a comment period before any changes they decide to make would go into effect so there would be time to stock up after that deeming order was posted in the Federal Register and before any changes went into effect.

When the FDA proposes "deeming" regulations to apply Chapter IX of the FSPTCA to electronic cigarettes, we'll all know where things are headed.
And the most likely scenario is probably that we'll all be screwed over pretty good.

But once they issue the "deeming" regulations there will be a public comment period.
And if you hang around here, you'll get plenty of warning and notice.

The "deeming" regulations are just a proposal for what they intend to do.
And then after the public comment period, real regulations will follow at some point down the road.

So no, maybe you don't need to stock up just yet.
But you may need to in the near future.

If anything, I can see juice with nicotine being taxed.

I personally am thinking of getting into DIY that way I can make more of my own juices as I want them. There is some cost involved but in the end it really is a cheaper route. I haven't started yet but I will definitely post in here when I get started.

For DIY the unflavored base can likely be kept in the freezer for 5 years, possibly even longer, and that's exactly what I'm doing. Other countries that already have import restrictions in place can quickly add another customs Sturmstaffel confiscation force. In these types of jurisdictions it makes sense to stock up, esp. when too much medico anti-vaping PR is being ramped up in the news.

I keep about 1 years worth on hand in the fridge/freezer just in case things "change". That way i'll have time to adjust to any new regulations and possible mix my own.

I will be stocking unflavored nic in the freezer. The problem is if and when the FDA opens their mouth it will cause panic with vapers and suppliers will run out very fast. I would be just as worried about carto's and other supplies.
