With All The Talk Of PVs and FDA

Does anyone have a Plan B,if the courts decide to let the FDA regulate our PVs. Are you stocking up? Planning on building your own PV? I hadn't given it much thought until I read the article on the WSJ. I'm far more addicted to the hand to mouth-inhale-exhale then to the actual nicotine,so I could just make my own juice,but I'm not sure about what I would do for batteries and attys

It's not *too* difficult to put your own box mod together. I'm sure an underground network of places to get nic for DIY juice would develop. As would an underground network for getting atties.

theres some home grown atty videos out there ive been checking out. they cant ban flavorings and pg/vg but i dont know about getting some nicotine

The Vapor Train has left the station and there's no turning back. The FDA might cause a derailment, but that won't stop the train.

There is a demand so there will be plenty of supply.

If the FDA is smart, they'll work a program where everyone wins.....but it is the Gov. so chances are they won't. In the end, it would be like the music industry's online music debacle.

I'm guessing this wild west period will end, what with the horrific mess most state budgets are in they'd be more likely to bring it under a sin tax, wonder if Obama will yet again stop the transport by USPS, UPS etc though, heck has anyone tried sending him one? I've thought about sending him all kinds of things....

It might end up, if a carpet ban even on import, was put in place that the manufacturing might move to somewhere like Mexico

I built my own PVs so not worried and have everything to make juice. Even if they do ban them all it will do is create a black market and drive prices up. Makes you wonder if the FDA might be making money off e-cigs.

Can't find the post now but I read here somewhere that Obama has indeed been given an e-cig. IIRC one of the Senators or State reps gave him one. No word on his reaction or if he even tried it tho.

I plan to practice civil disobedience for sure.

I can't make my own mods but I've bought one that uses commercially available batteries and plan to have plenty of attys on hand, I just always order one or two more with each order to slowly stock up a bit.

I'm learning DIY mixing and after I have mastered that, I will at attempt to get a working knowledge of extracting nic from tobacco. There is no such thing as useless knowledge, even if you never need to use it.

I am stocking concentrated Nic and my favorite flavorings, though I do know how to make flavor extracts, decotations and such for both flavor and herbal medicine uses so, I know I could make a vape worthy nicotine decotation if I had to from tobacco leaves. Thank heavens it grows where I live - I can plant a bit for my own use., Ye I am already trying it, making sure I can get a suitable nic liquid form tobacco, just in case.

I already modified one to work on the batteries I use for mdel aircraft, and am working on a PV unit I can build form non PV related supplies. Also working on one that you would actualy light a small chamber, or put hot coals in to heat the juice and produce vapor - in case of dooms day and no way to charge batteries. A cave man PV if you will.

As with everything I enjoy or think I need, I like to have a 100% self suficient, independant of anyone else version should I need it.
