I doubt it, but you can bet your tail the guys at TEMCO are wondering why the spike in kanthal sales. Back in the day, the only stuff it was ever used for was making a jig that would cut foam when making model airplanes. Great for cutting out wing shapes and fuselages.

They are well aware of it. They now have special packaging for vapor stores.

How? The rolled cotton is cleaner and more consistent, both things that are perfect for wicks.
