I would assume, that if you check ALL the ingredients on a flavor (no matter what brand) ...

it would be fine IF it only contained Natural and Artificial Flavors, Propylene Glycol, and is water soluble
(and no sugar, additives, etc.).

Am I right? Any other opinions on this.

Seems to me, that's actually what Capella's and the other brands are. :)

Food coloring is generally not good. you can probably find a store near you that carries lorran's , that would be a better option.

Looking through LorAnn's flavor listings, it shows that they have added food coloring to their liquids too so that seems to be okay shouldn't it?

Some people vape LorAnn's. I do not. Added food coloring is one of the reasons.

Either way, I think most folks around here are going to say the same thing.. We quit smoking to reduce the number of chemicals we inhale. There has been practically no testing of the effects of inhaling food coloring, which is GRAS ("Generally Recognized as Safe") .. for eating. I'd prefer to keep random, unnecessary chemicals out of my body.

FYI, LorAnn's was originally intended to flavor food and drinks, and not with us in mind. So there is no "seems to be okay" about it. I'd stay away from food coloring if I were you, but what you do is up to you.

I'm with adeline on this one. The colors are pretty, but why add a un-necessary ingredient? What is truly safe will be known in about 10-20 years from now based on our experiences.. We know that cigarettes = eventual death. We know that reducing those chemicals reduce our risk. We know that PV and VG are considered safe/inert. We know that nicotine is found in many vegetables that we eat. Beyond that is anyone's guess imho.

I was in a pinch once and the localcake supply store was actually out of flavorings, so I scooted down to the Krogers and I got raspberry flavoring, it was slightly colored a really really light pink color, and i vaped it for a few days till my flavors came in, nothing happend to me..personally i dont think food coloring is that big of an issue if it int a lot of it in there, about all that will happen is you may gunk up your atty faster...like chocolate flavorings

And I'm sure nothing happened to workers in popcorn factories in the first week either..
Now consider longer term exposure and inhaling the unknown and untested chemicals over time.. There's just no telling what it will do to you.

That's all I'm trying to say. We don't know.

I won't go so far as to say, in a pinch, for short term use, it'd be fine. But I'd much rather see someone use a little LorAnns than pick up a pack of cigarettes. Just exercise caution, and order some flavorings that are free of extraneous chemicals. :)
