Stored battery life on stocked up Pv

Have been doing a little stocking up on kits(Rivas,Ego) when on sale and was wondering how to keep the batteries in working order. Do I leave them alone in the box or pull out and give a partial or full charge every now and then?

Lithium batteries are most happy stored at ~50% charge. I.E. 3.85V. Kept in a cool place (40-50°F) they are likely to remain useful for 12 to 18 months, maybe more.
