Hallo, hallo! I am about to receive my first mod, a limited edition blue LED Provari. I am heavily considering using a tank for it so I can use it for long driving tips and whatnot, but I'll still be using my eGos when I go out in public to a bar or something (the ProVari is very expensive, so I will not take any chances with it!). Also, if I'm drinking, the last thing I need is to fiddle with VV because I know I'll blow a carto or something

SO... here's my question. If I got a case similar to a Bottle Buddy (but bigger) or an eGo zipper case, would it be okay to store tanks with e-liquid inside of it? Will any juice escape from the threads/drip tip? Should I put in a carto ".... plug" so it won't leak?

If you have any different tank storage suggestions, PLEASE, by ALL means, post them up.

Thank you!

If it's a DC smoktek tank it wont leak.

It's a normal carto tank, just like a Chibi carto tank or a Notta tank. I have no idea what a DC Smoktech tank is  It's identical to a Chibi/Notta, but I got it from an ECF friend on here, so I think it's home-made. I just don't want to lose juice because I stored it in a stupid manner

I leave all of my tanks filled with juice and have never really had problems with them, but they stay in one place when not in use. if you are talking about carrying them around then I think I would at least put the carto caps back on! Another good tip I use is to leave the carto rubber tips on all my tanks to keep juice from leaking from the top, instead of just leaving the drip tip on it :)

I store my filled tanks in prescription bottles when I'm not using them. Fit perfect and easy to store them standing up this way. You can cut the carto condoms down to fit over the end of the carto sticking out of the bottom of the tank too. :)

My problem is that there is absolutely no room to even stick a cut carto cap on it. There's just no room for that :( I was thinking of doing but it's not possible.

Good luck. That is your best bet.
I just did :( No luck. It wouldn't even stay on. This is a concern but dankie's tank hasn't leaked in his pocket of all places, so that's a comfort. I probably won't fill it all the way to test out storage methods. Thank you for helping me out :D

I like the medicine bottle idea for longer trips, Thanks for sharing!!

As for the condoms I was able to cut mine down and they both stayed on, double leak proof now :)

Good Thread, cause I was just on here to ask this very same question. Raynen if you come up with another solution let me know, i'd love to hear it!!

Just went to the drug store with a measurement, talked to the pharmacist about possibly buying bottles. Turns out that she was able to get me a perfect fit bottle (tank including drip tip) and charged me 10 cents a piece for the bottles. Then I took a piece of masking tape, wrote the flavor on it and stuck the whole thing in the bottle. What a great idea you had!
