Smoktek DC tanks with regular Boge Cartos

I am moving more and more to modded Vivi Nova and other rebuildable tanks, but still have a ton of fresh cartos around which still work fine for some juices.

While I do have a tank mod that works well with standard cartos, it is .... ugly on my shiney VV tube mods. Rather than spend the money on a SS version which will only be used until I go through all those cartos, I was wondering if I could take a smoktek DC tank at a much lower cost, cut it down to fit the carto (have all kinds of tools), and use that.

smoktek cartos have a flange, but will they work with standard perforated/slotted cartos? I understand that there may be some sliding up and down by using a non flanged carto, but I only use tanks around the house/office and never when moving about.

You have regular (as in regular length) boge cartos and you wish to use them in a smoktech tank that has some shiny caps?

My mate at work uses this tank /w punched flangeless boge standard length cartos... the same boges I use in my phiniac regular tank.
35mm tube length, 40mm total counting threads.

I do think you could cut the tube down on a 6ml tank and make it work though.

I've been using a dcc tank that I cut down to fit standard Boge cartos for a few months now with no issues...
