this isn't so much 'doomsday'-y but i'm just a naturally cautious person who stocks up and stores stuff. (witness the useless packs of newports sitting in the backporch freezer, sigh, lol).

so, coupla questions. i prob should ask this in the main forum but... hey. here i am. :p

1. what's the best way to store juices, long term? what temp?
2. how accurate is the exp. date on juices?
3. does the pg/vg content make a difference in shelf life? if so, how do mixes of pg/vg stack up?
4. does the flavoring shorten shelf life? i.e. if i want to have a back up supply *must* i order unflavored? if so, that's fine, but i'd just as soon have back ups of my faves from V4L too.

Did some googling, too. Here's a compilation of my findings from various NRT sites:

Store the product at room temperature between 68-77 degrees F (20-25 degrees C) away from light and moisture. Do not store in the bathroom.

* Maintain a cool room temperature. Heat accelerates the degradation of the Nicotine.
* Reduce moisture-it contributes to Nicotine breakdown.
* Eliminate light-it promotes the reduction of a Nicotine potency. House Nicotine in a closed cabinet or storage box.
* Examine labels Nicotine for expiration dates. Look at the date before you take a Nicotine and every six months. Throw away expired Nicotine.
* Discard any Nicotine that have changed in color, texture or odor.

Nicotrol®: Store inhaler cartridge at room temperature not to exceed 30°C (86°F). Protect cartridges from light.

Assuming NRT products have similar storage needs as carts and bottles. Basically, store it in a cool, dark, dry place :)
