I have a day case and un it is several Mini Protank 2's that have juice in them. Is it bad to have these things on their sides horizontally while juice is in them?

    Thanks for your time.

In general, no, not a problem. Some "store" filled bottom coil toppers, like your mini, upside down to avoid leaks.

But if all the seals are in good condition, and everything properly assembled, they should be ok in any position.

Or more concern are extreme temperature changes. Since they use a slight vacuum inside to avoid leaking, higher temps can change that. So just don't leave the case in a hot car :)
