liblue asked why since she thought he already had plenty of vape gear. She remembers all the mods and juices he showed her when she was just starting out and how he had helped her transition to vaping. What had happened? Why had he changed so? She knew she must get to the bottom of this and soon. Just then, a bright light blinded the masked man ........

As liblue pulled out the light saber from behind her and flashed it in front of the masked man....he dropped his gun and tried to run...but he was still blind from the flash so he ran into the wall.....Joan quickly picked up the gun from where he dropped it and pointed it at him and said "you better tell us who put you up to this".....but at that moment there was a noise from behind...

By That . . . As he was running away it dropped out of his pocket . . . "JoanJ" went over and saw that it was his MOD & Cell phone . . . Do "JoanJ" started to look at the previous call list and saw that there was one number called more then once recently . . .
One ominous overly scary number -- impossible, it couldn't be. JoanJ could not believe her eyes...... the horror, the horror......

with a confused and terrified tone in his voice he said, " Hey guys, I thought we were friends!! What is going on here?"
Someone from the group yelled and said, " We thought you were our friend too, until you sent that masked goon to rob us!" Horton looked even more shocked and said .......

I honestly - don't know what you are talking about . . . I truly have changed my ways and have even been helping in the background . . . Matter of fact, I told the authorities where all the bad "E-liquid" was being stored so it could be destroyed and who the person was that actually developed the scheme to cause all this havoc . . . That's why I was let go and am here right now to help the "Vapers Freedom League".
So they let him off the hook...for now.....but he will always be on the "bad" side as far as liblue was concerned....

Joan felt that there was something about Horton that she could trust. Sure, he could be a bit of an unknown in ways but just from the look in his eyes and the tone of his voice, she was sure that he was doing everything he could to make amends for the past. She was willing to give him that chance. Of course, it didn't hurt that liblue was certain to be watching his every move.
After all the excitement of the day, Joan was more than ready to head to their hotel and just have quiet and clear her mind. The group reached their hotel lobby and Joan told the others she was heading to her room. The rest of the group decided they would ........

Go out and party down...... They went to the bar and started slamming shots and beers -- a recipe for a banging headache the next AM. Meanwhile Horton stayed off by himself brooding. No one could read him and tell for sure what his agenda was. JoanJ seemed to feel he was trustworthy and liblue was watching him like a hawk. It was sort of hard to miss Horton because he was wearing a flaming red full length vaping jacket made by his former evil minions. The night wore on -- tales were told and new friendships solidified. When the crowd looked up later, Horton had disappeared. No one thought much of it other than liblue. The tiki bar closed and liblue decided to take an evening constitutional -- alone -- a big mistake.......... (cue dramatic music, please)

Just then Horton jumps out from behind the curtain and Liblue jumps with a start. Immediately she drew her light sabre and swung at Horton........

She hit him right in the head. Horton let out a yelp and fell to the floor. She saw him frantically trying to get something out of his pocket...

She felt so bad.....because Horton was surprising her with the most beautiful mod she had ever seen. He had made it for her to gain her trust, and perhaps maybe even to get lucky.....
